Novus Alpha V3 Install

Welcome to the Novus Alpha V3 installation page, from here you will be able to download the latest software.

The new version of the Novus Alpha requires a different update program so we have separated the installation from the older Model.

If you are a first time download customer you will need to install a USB driver and Alpha Updater V3 before any updates can be done.

Installation Section

To get your unit updated you will need to install a USB driver for the USB cable and an update program to be able to run the updates.

Step 1 - Install USB Driver

For the USB cable to work we need to find a USB Driver to allow the information to be sent from our program.

Click on the link for your version of Windows:

1. Windows XP & Windows Vista
2. Windows 7 32Bit
3. Windows 7 64Bit

Windows XP Installation Guide

• Click on the file above and 'Run' the download.
• Once download click 'Install' and the files will be saved to your desktop.
• Now plug in the USB Cable into the computer and Novus Alpha.
• Now follow the images below:

Select the middle option

Select the bottom option

Select 'include this location...' and browse for the desktop.

Click 'Continue Anyway'

• Once you have clicked on 'Finish' you can now move on to 'Step 2' and install the Alpha Updater V3 - Click here

Windows 7 32Bit Installation Guide

• Click on the file above and 'Run' the installation of the driver.
• Now plug in the USB Cable into the computer and Novus Alpha.
• Windows will display the 'Found New Hardware' message, simply wait for the message to say that the 'Hardware is installed and ready to use' 
• Now move onto Step 2 - Click here
  

Windows 7 64Bit Installation Guide

• Click on the file above and 'Run' the installation of the driver.
• Now plug in the USB Cable into the computer and Novus Alpha.
• Windows will display the 'Found New Hardware' message, simply wait for the messageto say that the 'Hardware is installed and ready to use'
• Now move onto Step 2 - Click here

Step 2 - Install Update Program

Click on the link above to install the Alpha Updater V3 software. Once complete you will be able to return back to the Database/Downloads page and update your unit.
