2/08/10 - Using a NOVUS Digital Vehicle Black Box could get you up to 10% off your insurance premium.

Specialist haulage insurance provider Towergate Risk Solutions have agreed to give customers running Eye Series cameras a discount of up to 10% off their insurance premium for all vehicles over 7.5 tonnes.

21/04/10 - A new type of Specs camera is being tested for use on normal A Roads. The camera uses ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) to record the time you entered a road and times how long it look you to exit the road, if you are found to be driving faster than the time allowed you will recieve and automatic fine and points. Even more reason to purchase a speed camera alert system!!  Read more!

2/11/09 - EU to police drivers with black boxes. There was an article in The Sunday Times over the weekend that coincidently mentions the same type of device that we are producing the aid driver if an accident occurs. They quote "Researchers believe the technology will improve safety. The study, called Project Veronica, found drivers with black boxes were 10% less likely to be involved in a fatal accident, and their repair bills fell by as much as 25%". The main difference with our unit is that it will record  video of the event so that you can capture any physical evidence.

22/10/09 - Novus Systems has won another award for our Speed Camera Detectors. We received a 1st place Gold Award by ME Magazine on the overall good service that we provide.

29/09/09 - New Product Release!!!! We are going to release a completely new product known as a Black Box Video System. 04/08/09 - New Product Release!!!! Around the 17th August Halfords will be exclusively selling the new Novus Delta Plus.

The Delta have been upgraded to the Delta Plus and has improved technology that is found inside the Novus Rider. The design has been modernised and has been given a black matt case to reduce sun glare.

Halfords will also be selling the Novus Piccolo, so we will have two models available in all Halfords stores.

28/07/09 - Novus Rider Database Change. After getting feedback from our customers we have decided to split the database into two types of updates.

One Database update will update all the camera information as normal, but the second update file will not include Mobile cameras. This way you will have the option to have the compete database or have the option to remove all Mobiles site from the warnings the Rider gives you.

You can change your mind anything, so if you want the Mobile warning again then just run the Complete Database update for your unit.
